You should have kept the stuff. I’m not a lawyer, but it’s my understanding that if a company sends you something you didn’t order, you can keep it without being billed for it since it was their mistake!! That may vary from state to state but next time look into the laws of your state and if you can, just keep the stuff!

Regardless, I certainly wouldn’t have gone out of my way to mail them back stuff they should never have sent me in the first place. They’d have gotten it when I felt good and ready to send it back, unless they wanted to come pick it up personally! And if now they are harassing you over their mistake, you should most certainly file a complaint against them with the BBB and badmouth them all over the internet since they are so incompetent and harassing!

Remind me never to do business with that shady company!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun with those UPS guys. They definitely can mess you around a fair bit when they can’t give a specific time of mailing!

I’d stand my ground if you really don’t want to do that stuff. Make him man up and go alone or give it up. Life is too short to torture yourself doing stuff you hate!

Otherwise if you have to go, just make sure to get a hotel room with wifi, stay in the hotel while he does his stuff and play around on the internet. That’s what I’d do!

Hi Christine!! Citibank does suck, and I firmly believe that most credit cards are rooted in evil- unless you’ve got excellent credit (which I don’t) and buckets of money (that’s a negative on that). Hope you got/get it all sorted out. Merry belated Christmas!! God bless.
