A lot of times you can request plain packaging from these places. That might allow you to have the order shipped to the office.

LOL - now I see why they call it a CrackBerry, it's so much more fun than my old phone ever was!

I get unlimited text, data, and the CrackBerry service, plus 300 minutes of talk each month for that $35. I don't talk on the phone much, so that's plenty. Plus I still have rollover minutes left from when I was just doing pay-as-you-go, and not a monthly plan. yeah, the phone cost $300 because I'm not on a contract, but it all works out in the end.

I'm enjoying it...and if I do have questions, I will know who to ask!

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Crackberry! LOL! I honestly don't know how I would live without mine. David and I just upgraded ours (he had a Bold and I still had the 8310, which looks mostly like the one you just got) - and we got the new Torch that just came out 2 weeks ago. OMG! It's awesome. I am seriously in LOVE with Blackberry products and would never have any other phone ever again.

If you have any questions about it, let me know. I'm sure you are gonna love it!

I wish I could say that my bill was only $35 a month! We have max data plans, plus a shared talk package, unlimited text, etc. Plus, because we live in the wilderness, we have to use little USB "dongles" that get 3G signals from AT&T to get internet, so those are on our bill as well - and those are extremely expensive (but better than a landline and dial-up).

Have fun with your new toy! :)

Here in MI, you can go to a shrink that simply does "medication management". Your first appointment is an hour where you tell him/her what is going on (in your case the panic attacks) and then they determine what kind of meds would help you. It's MUCH less stressful than going to a "real" shrink appointment (even tho the doc really is a shrink or psychologist). That's what I do to get my Lexapro and Xanax. I go to her every few months and my appointments are only 15-20 minutes, just so she can ask me how everything is going, if there are any changes, if my meds are working, etc. Then I walk out with a 'script for 3-6 months worth of meds and I don't have to worry about going to a shrink weekly, monthly, or whatever. You should call your insurance co and see if you can go to someone like that in MA instead of having to do make an appointment with someone who will psycho-analyze your life down to the most minute detail just to get some Cymbalta or whatever. I think Lexapro might be a good "happy pill" for you because I have lots of peri-menopause issues and my medication management shrink said that Lexapro is one of the best antidepressants that can help menopause symptoms as well. I haven't had any side effects with it like I did on Prozac. Cymbalta was good too, but it only worked for me for a year and it didn't handle the menopause stuff like the Lexapro does. Just my two cents...

You must have a better quality one, or ours is defective. It really did take me 45 minutes just to cook a pound of pasta on ours. I hate it. But as long as it appears to work, the landladies will never replace it...sigh...

We have a glass top stove and I made corn on the cob this weekend using our lobster pot with no detrimental results! You could give it a try.

The homebrew kit that Drew used turned out really good and is really easy to do at home. I'm sure he has a detailed post on his blog about it! ;-)

It's AWESOME that you guys didn't have to pay all that money to the Feds! I filed an extension on our taxes because in April we couldn't afford to get them done and I knew that we were going to OWE thousands of dollars this year. They don't take taxes out of D's disability (which I think is DUMB), so despite being broke for 99% of last year and most of this year so far, we are gonna owe BIG TIME. I figure we can afford to go to our favorite 'creative' account in July and maybe he can work his magic and make what we owe a little less painful, but I know we'll never break even. People that are permanently disabled shouldn't have to pay crazy taxes - we're already permanently BROKE, too!!

I know exeactly how you feel about the paycheck situation! David's disability insurance company is supposed to pay him on the last day of the month. BUT, we have discovered that when the last falls on a weekend or a holiday, they hold the pay until the next business day. IT SUCKS. I get paid on the last of the month, as well, but my company is "normal" and pays people BEFORE the weekend date or holiday - which, in my opinion is the way is SHOULD BE. Making people wait that extra day or two can be bad news, especially when, like us, we are counting on that disability check. By the end of the month, there's nothing but lint left in our pockets and we don't have any credit cards. We don't even have a bank account anymore and I do all my "banking" at Walmart with their Walmart Money Card. Our checks are direct deposited onto it and there are zero fees and nothing can ever bounce. I HATE BANKS ever since they decided that they would no longer cash or make available D's disability check. They were going to hold it for 10 business days! Sorry folks, but I can't wait 2 full weeks for his check to clear - we have to pay the house and car payments! Yup, the Bank of Walmart is the only place we will EVER put our money again!
