A New Project
So I have taken on a rather large project, but I know it will be a fun and challenging one. The project? Making scrapbook albums for each of Kat’s two sons, from birth until the present. It’s a tall order, because they are teenagers now, almost grown up, but I’m looking forward to getting into this.
This will be the first time I’ve ever done albums for anyone other than myself, and the first time I’ve done kid-related pages. All of my layouts in the past have been about trips we’ve taken, our cats, baseball, pics of Mike and me wearing sexy lingerie…hey, just kidding about that last part, trust me, that is a visual that no one needs!
So tomorrow I’m going out to Michaels again, to look for albums and see what other stuph catches my eye. I already have tons and tons of paper and supplies, I just need the actual albums right now. But I will still look at paper and other stuph, just in case there is something there that screams “Mark” or “Sebastian” at me. I’ll be going through my own stash o’ stuph, as well.
I have never had the privilege of meeting these two young men in person, but I feel as if I know them, because Kat blogs about them so much.
While we are out tomorrow, we’ll be taking a drive up to New Hampshire, because the Powerball jackpot is up to something like $120 million, and we want tickets. They don’t have Powerball here in Massachusetts.
If we won that money, one of the things we’ll do is book a trip down to Florida so we can see the Red Sox in Spring Training. And Sarasota, where Kat lives is really not all that far from Fort Myers, where Red Sox Spring Training takes place. So we’d certainly be able to go and visit her and her family, and even get more pics for the scrapbooks!
