A view from the window…
…of my Little Green Friend…well, sort of!

I was looking though my old photo files for a picture of our car, our Little Green Friend, when I came upon this one, that I had forgotten about. Over at Fuel My Blog, there is a photo competition going on, and I had not entered one for this blog yet. The rules do say one per BLOG, not BLOGGER, after all. The theme is “View From My Window”, and here is the entry I posted on FenwayFaithful.com.
But as for this pic…it’s a view of the Nubble Lighthouse in York Beach, Maine, as reflected in the rear windshield of our Little Green Friend. Any lighthouse afficionado will recognize this lighthouse. It is also known as the Cape Neddick Light. This is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the U.S. You can read more about it here.
In keeping with the car and Maine theme here, here’s the pic I WAS looking for…me, our Little Green Friend, and Wally the Green Monster (another Little Green Friend). Yep, that’s Bob’s Clam Hut in Kittery, Maine, in the background there!
This was originally taken for a Red Sox fan site, and they did use it!
