An exciting day ahead…
We’re getting ready to head up to Manchester, NH, for our final Fisher Cats games there of the season. It saddens me that the season is just about over, but at least we are getting the unexpected treat of a double-header today. That’s right…there was supposed to be a double-header there last night, but due to the rain from Tropical Storm Danny, they chose to play just one game last night, and move the twin bill to today, when the weather is much better.
They did play that one game last night, and the double-header is still going to start at 4:05 PM. But they are opening the ballpark wicked early, and we plan to get there wicked early. We’ll be outta here by noon or so.
We were supposed to go to the Brockton Rox game last night. But the rain was hammering down, plus, I felt like shit. I was actually relieved to check at about 4PM and see that the game was postponed. The Rox are making the playoffs, so hopefully we can trade the tickets for playoff tix, if we can make it.
I just needed a LOT of sleep, and I feel much better today. Now, if Mike can only remove himself from the shower, so I can take my turn. I swear, if we ever win the lottery, we’re gonna buy a house where we each have our own bathroom!
See you on Twitter/Facebook for the rest of the day!
