Bored

So I went looking for new WordPress themes for my blogs.  Simply WP just put out the most adorable snowman theme, which I downloaded and will use on Six Great States in December.  The autumn theme that’s there now also came from Simply WP.  I’ve decided to go with seasonal themes on that blog, since we do have four seasons here in New England.  I’m just not quite ready for snow yet.  It’ll be here soon enough, though.  I heard it snowed on the Cape and other parts of New England, just now where we are yet.

I still can’t find a cat-related theme that I like for this blog.  All of the ones I’ve seen either have dark backgrounds, which I really don’t want, or I’ve seen them on too many other kitty blogs.  So I just make new banners for this theme every so often.  This new one is made from a photo I took of Sir Puff Ballington (yet another name for Pumpkin).  I’ll probably make similar banners for all of my othr cats, and switch them off when I get bored.

I did the same thing with Tales From The Ballpark, put a new panoramic-style photo banner on it.  I may suck at making my own WP themes, but at least I can use my own photographs to make them not look like everybody else’s blogs, right?

Yawn.  I need to find something else to do now!
