We’re back from the Manchester part of our vacation…came back a little earlier than expected because we decided not to go out to eat after the Fisher Cats’ game today. We just weren’t hungry, and I was tired. I did okay during this trip, but I’m still not at 100%. I have to take things easy, still, so the Portland leg of the trip doesn’t get ruined.

Shortly before we left on Saturday, there was a knock at the door. I went to see who it was, and I saw the FedEx guy going back to his truck…and he’d just left a big package on the porch. Asking me to sign for it would have been nice…what it it came after we’d left? It would have sat there all weekend, until someone stole it.

It was the new vertical blinds I’d ordered. I’m not going to have time to put them up tomorrow, because I have a kazillion other things to do before we leave again on Tuesday. So that will have to wait until we return, I’ll have more time next week.

I could not find a compact power screwdriver that didn’t cost a million dollars at Lowe’s when I was there last week. So, I’ll have to use Mike’s full-sized drill with the screwdriver bit, and hope it’s not to big for the job. Mike had to go downstairs to the basement to dig it out, though. The landladies had piled a bunch of their crap in front of where he was keeping his tools, and it was a pain to get to it.

After we return from this trip, we’ll have to work out a better tool storage method. It just ain’t working the way it is now!
