First up, I want to congratulate Jay on winning the big prize at the BenSpark Soda Club Contest. He did an awesome job in promoting himself to get votes, and his win is well-deserved. I’m not a sore loser about these things, and I even went to Jay’s blog and left him a congratulatory comment. I really hope he enjoys his new soda maker!

But I am not a total loser…I snagged second prize which is a *BYOS* (bring your own seltzer) package. This is a selection of Soda Club flavorings that I can add to pre-fizzed (store-bought) seltzer. Not a shabby prize, by any means!

And congrats also go to third prize winner, Joana, who will be getting a Soda-Club pint glass.

And I want to thank every single one of you who voted for me, and helped get me as close as I did. It’s really amazing as to how fast the word can spread, just by putting it on my own blogs, and a few message boards.

The drawing for the Amazon gift certificate, for those of you who blogged about me, will take place sometime this weekend, no later than Sunday. I’m hoping to do a video presentation, but if not, still photos might have to do. I am still figuring out how to use my new, el cheapo video cam. I am going to have Mike draw the winner from a Red Sox hat, and it will be announced right after it’s done.

…that I definitely plan to purchase one! I was waiting to see if I could win it, first, but since I didn’t, I’ll be ordering one for my very own, very soon!

Drew is having another contest on his blog, very soon. Although he has not come out and said what the prize is for this one, I figured it out, and he says that I’m correct! It is something that I already own and enjoy, so I won’t be entering that contest. But I want to encourage you to visit The BenSpark on Monday, which is when this new contest will be announced. And that’s all I really can tell you at this time. I will blog more about it once it’s officially been announced.
