I FINALLY got my money back from TracFone yesterday, as you can see from the screenshot.

The winner of the guessing contest is Lisa. She guessed October 31, which puts her one day off. She wins the two DVDs…”Shooter” and “The Break-Up”.

Let this be a lesson to us all…never, never EVER use TracFone. Ever. Don’t let what happened to me happen to you. It shouldn’t have to happen, yet I suspect with this company, shit like this happens all that time. This is what happens when they farm out their call centers to countries where English is not the first language.

And their people in the U.S. clearly aren’t much better…what kind of a dumbass ships a package via FEDERAL EXPRESS to a P.O. Box…especially when the customer specifically requested U.S.P.S.?

I took Kat’s advice and went with Virgin Mobile. She has been with them for years and has had NO problems. So far, I’ve been very happy. The phone I got is nicer than the one that I never got from TracFone…in fact, all of their phones are nicer. The users’ manual for the phone is written IN ENGLISH…not a lame-assed translation from Chinese or whatever, as the TracFone’s were. It gave me a headache to try to read that! And the customer service is based in the U.S., and the reps speak English.

I’m glad that this is FINALLY over with!
