I’m surprised that this guy didn’t die a long time ago…what with all of his crazy motorcycle stunts. He was a big thing back in the 70’s, when I was a teenager. I wasn’t big into him, but my younger brother and his friends were. They were always trying to imitate some of his stunts on their bikes…okay, not quite jumping over Greyhound buses. But they’d scrounge up plywood and stuff to make ramps, and do stupid stunts on that. It’s a wonder that none of them got killed doing this
But it was obvious that Evel Knievel was having fun…nothing wrong with that!

I just looked at a local website and saw that not only did Evil die at a hospital 10 min away but he also literally lived right around the corner from me. Interesting. I couldn’t have picked him out of a lineup.
Oh well. RIP dude, you lived a pretty exciting life.

I was shocked to find out he was only 69, he looked like he was so much older!
