Gratuitous cat picture…

This is the very first picture I took with my new phone. I emailed it to myself. The only thing I did to it was crop it, but other than that, no editing was done to it. I just used the default setting for resolution, zoom, and all…I do have the option to take higher res pics on this thing.

But this is not too bad for a camera phone, considering that it’s not the most expensive one in the world. It was only around $60, and I’m very happy with it so far. I’ve been having fun playing around with it, seeing all that it can do.

I even bought a ringtone for it…it’s a clip from “Tessie” by the Dropkick Murphys. In case you don’t know why this song is important, go over to this post on my baseball blog and watch the video. Remember, every time someone plays “Tessie”, that increases the Sox’ chances of winning. They won last night, after I bought the ringtone, and I’m playing the video again and again so that they can win tonight, as well. As in, they win tonight, the Sox take the whole enchilada!

They have lots of other cool ringtones, and I’ll buy some more for when baseball is over.

Even if I did get the camera phone from TracFone, I don’t think that company offers anywhere near as much coolness as Virgin Mobile does.

I love cool electronics and stuph. I’m looking forward to buying a new TV, for when everything goes digital, high def in 2009. That might be a good time to consider a Bose home theater system…if we’re going to spend the money on this stuph, we’d might as well buy the best we can afford.

And Bose stuph is among the best. We have one of their clock radio/CD players in our bedroom. We saved money by buying a reconditioned one at the Bose store up in Kittery. But still, this costs more than a run of the mill unit. It’s well worth it, though, because the sound quality is excellent. When we watch DVDs on the bedroom TV, we play the sound through this thing…much better than the sound from the TV speaker. That’s why I want to go with Bose when we buy a new TV setup for the living room.

New toys are always fun! :D
