Two down, two to go.

Another day with no refund from the crooks at TracFone. They truly are one of the worst companies to deal with.

I called PayPal yesterday, to find out why I can’t file a dispute online. They told me that it was because I used their debit MasterCard. Apparently, MasterCard requires that I show some sort of proof that I tried to resolve the issue with the seller myself before they and PayPal can step in. The PayPal guy emailed me instructions for filing a claim, including a link to an affidavit that I have to fill out, print, sign, and mail or fax to them. I also need to send them copies of any correspondence I have…I have all of the emails. As for the phone calls, all I can do there is give as clear a description as possible abut the calls and what was said.

So all of this will be mailed out tomorrow, when we go to the Good Post Office. Once again, certified mail, return receipt. I’m getting really tired of this.

I was browsing the Virgin Mobile website, looking at their phones and plans. I think I want the Cyclops phone.  Before I place an order online, I’m going to try to find it at Target tomorrow.  I don’t know how good the phone selection there is.  But if they have the one I want, and it’s not more expensive than ordering on the website, I’m going to buy it there.

If they don’t, I’ll have to order it…the only downside is that they only use Federal Express, and that company bites the big one.  I could try asking them to ship UPS, but then the shipping might not be free.  The best bet would be to have it shipped to Mike at his office.  I don’t think business FedEx drivers would leave a package outside the building, as the home service does here.  This is an office building, they have a receptionist on the ground floor who signs for packages.

Can’t wait to be rid of TracFone forever!
