Hump Day Humph
Puff Bally-Ball is sitting by the door, crying for his Daddy hoomin. Yes, Mike is late, and we have Dr. Quackenstein to blame for that. You see, Mike went to the doctor last week, and he asked that he get his scrips for 90 days at a time. This is because he can get them at that fancy French department store, Tar-jhay, for just $20 for each med, for 90 days worth. No insurance needed, and even if we had good insurance now, which we won’t until December, it is still cheaper than the standard co-pay.
But they screwed up, and gave him only 90 pills for a med he is supposed to take twice a day Not Target, the doctor’s office. Mike has been calling them to get this fixed for several days now, with no luck getting through. Finally, he did get through, supposedly they called in the additional 90 pills to Target, and he has to go there tonight to pick them up. I just hope they are there, otherwise Mike will be mighty pissed over having to drive there for nothing.

I remembered to make the online payment for my Woman Within charge card today. It is due tomorrow, which is Mike’s payday. But if I waited until tomorrow to pay, and wanted the payment to clear that day, it would cost an extra ten bucks. What a ripoff! And if I pay so much as one second late, they hit me with a $35 late fee.
This used to be a card that I could use at Lane Bryant stores, but I’m not sure if it’s good there anymore. It now seems to be only good for a line of mail order websites/catalogs that have since broken away from the LB stores. I don’t shop at LB stores anymore, anyway, as their clothes now suck. Who the hell had the brilliant idea that clothes that look good on toothpick-sized women also look good on fat women? There is NOTHING there anymore that I would be caught dead wearing.
Because of all of the increased fees involved, as well as the monthly PITA when it comes to signing into their stupid website to pay the bill, I am going to pay this card off and then cancel the account. You see, once you pay even one bill online, they cut off the paper bills, which I hate. They aren’t very good about sending email reminders when the bill is ready online, which has ended up costing me several thirty-five dollarses…they send the paper bill when they assess this late fee.  So now I mark my calendar to remember to check.
Still, every time I try to sign in, they ask me a security question which they said they wouldn’t have to ask me if I only would register my computer with them. I keep registering the computer, I still get the question every time I try to sign in. And then they tell me that my answer is WRONG, never mind that I was the one who made up the answers. It then locks me out for 30 minutes, and then I have to try again. If I’m lucky, they like my answer next time, and I can pay the bill.
It’s all more trouble than it’s worth. I’ll have this paid off in a couple more months, and then I will be done with them forever. I hate them.
