Thanks to astute commentor, Kate, I remembered that there ARE other movie ticketing sites in the world other than Fandango. And some do offer online ticketing for the Revere cinemas.

I checked out MovieFone. They do have online ticketing for the theater of my choice. So, now we have plans to see “Sicko” on Sunday, and “Transformers” on Wednesday, the 4th of July. Tickets are all bought and printed out!

I have found that is is MUCH easier to get Mike to do something once it’s a fait accompli. Once I make reservations, buy tickets, whatever, he will go along with it. But if I can’t do this ahead of time, he hems and haws and whines and all. I doubt I’d have to twist his arm for “Transformers”, but, as I said before, getting him into a Michael Moore movie might take some more effort.

So, we’re good to go! I will be sure to let you guys know how I like both movies!

The fact is, we seldom see movies in the theater. I think the last one we saw in a theater was “Fever Pitch”, and that was a coupla years ago. If you have evern seen that movie, you understand why I wanted to see it! I STILL wish I could get that Y***** toilet paper!

Most movies, honestly, are not good enough to pay up to ten bucks to see. Most of the time, I am happy to wait for the DVD. But I want very badly to see “Sicko” now, and I also feel that “Transformers” will be fun and worthy of the big screen. So this breaks a world record for us…two movies in the theater in one week. These movies had better live up to all of the hype that made me want to see them in the first place!
