…from the USPS to the email I sent yesterday, complaining about the suckage of the Evil Post Office.

Dear CHRISTINE MURPHY,

Thank you for contacting us about poor service from your local Post Office.

I apologize this occurred. This type of conduct is not acceptable under any circumstances. As with any business, much of our public image depends on the manner in which our employees interact with customers.

I will be happy to document this complaint. In order to do this, I need some additional information so this can be sent to the correct office and you can be contacted. Please reply to this email with the following information:

- Your home telephone number
- Whether you would like to receive a call regarding this issue (There is no guarantee that further information can be provided via email.)

If I can be of assistance to you in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for choosing the United States Postal Service®.

Regards,

Ben W

I’m not especially thrilled with the idea of giving out my home phone number. When I wrote a letter to Congressman Markey a few years ago about this issue, I had put my phone number on it. I guess his office must have sent a copy of my letter to the postmaster at the EPO, because said postmaster called me and yelled at me for having written the letter. As I keep saying, that guy is one nasty piece of work, and having taken a dose of his verbal abuse, I understand WHY the EPO is so very evil. I’d be nasty and cranky, too, if that guy were my boss.

Everyone who works there is nasty, that’s why I try not to have to go into the place. There’s this one woman who snaps at customers for no good reason. It could be that she’s going through the change, but I’m not sure that’s all it is. All of the progesterone in the world woudn’t be enough to solve what her problem really is…her nasty boss.

I just thought of something, though.  I still have Mike’s old TracFone, which has a ton of minutes on it, and the service plan for that doesn’t expire until June.  Mike and I now have phones with another carrier, because TracFone is almost as evil as the EPO.  But I’ve been using the old phone at home, mostly to make long distance calls, just to use up minutes that we’ve already paid for..

So I’ll give them the number of that phone.  It gets me out of having to give my home or regular cell numbers out to these people, and after June 25, the TracFone will be deactivated, that number eventually given to someone else, so that postmaster won’t be able to call and harass me after that.  Also, I can easily just not answer that phone if it rings, let the voice mail take it.  I actually hope that the guy does leave verbally abusive messages on the voice mail, then I can take them to the proper authorities and SERIOUSLY get this guy busted.

I seriously want to see this guy fry, to pay for all of the trouble he’s put us through over the past ten years when it comes to getting mail at home.  He has picked the wrong person to mess with!
