I keep seeing stuff on the news around here about how more and more homes are being foreclosed, due to non-payment of mortgages. In the Boston area, it’s very expensive to live, and we decided a long time ago to NEVER buy property in Massachusetts. Ever. I hate so much about this state, and I can’t wait until we can leave it and live elsewhere. Rents and mortgages are too high. Taxes are too high. Car insurance is too high. And we get little to nothing for our tax money, as far as I’m concerned.

The beaufort nc real estate market looks good. As I’ve said a million times before, the cost of living is much less down south. Some of the homes on that site would easily cost twice as much here in the Boston area.

We’re still pretty much decided on moving to Maine, but if were were to consider some other location, points south, on the east coast, might do it for us!
