It's SALAD!
I’ve pretty much given up on the idea of having any live plants in this house. The cats, most notably The Incredibly Stupid Striped Being, like to eat them. This usually makes them gack.
Luckily, artificial flowers and plants are looking very good these days…just look at these beautiful silk trees. They don’t look fake at all, and best of all…cats don’t want to eat them!
You know what Stripecat’s VERY favorite type of “salad” is, though? Beet greens! I’m serious…once I brought home some beets with the greens intact, and he went crazy over them. He was more excited abut beet greens than he’s ever been about catnip (which is quite a bit!).
So I gave him just a little bit, just to make sure the greens wouldn’t make him gack. He didn’t gack, so I let him have some more.
None of the other cats wanted any beet greens, though. But stripes has always been a very strange kitty!
