Must prepare…

…to alleviate boredom tomorrow. Tomorrow’s that Members’ Day thing at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, and Mike wants to go. But I can only take that place in small doses, so I must prepare, pack my tote bag with things to do. The place is in the middle of floopin’ nowhere, so if I go with him, I am stuck there until HE wants to leave.

So I’m packing a tote bag with Stuph I Need To Stay Sane While Grown Men Play With Trolley Cars. The Sox game is on tomorrow afternoon, so I will bring my portable XM radio receiver. I could bring my regular portable radio as well, just in case I can’t get a satellite signal. But the local AM station that has the Sox games is very weak and difficult to pick up. I think I might have better luck with the satellite signal. Most of the museum is outdoors, anyway.

I’ll bring my iPod, too, as a backup in case I can’t pick up any radio signal. I have a video iPod, and I have some games on it. Not quite as cool as something like the xbox 360, but hey, it’s portable!

And I have a few new magazines that I haven’t read yet, so those will come along for the day, too.

The only reason I agreed to go to this thing with Mike is that we get to go to Federal Jack’s afterwards.

I just hope the weather will be nice, and not all icky and rainy like it was last year.
