Ever since being hacked, I’ve been busy working on all of my blogs to keep this from happening again.  That’s why I haven’t posted here much.

But I did make a new header for this blog, as you can see.  I was getting tired of the old one, and I was actually looking for a new WP theme.  I wanted a cat theme, but I also didn’t want one with a dark background, which all of the ones I found seem to be.  I also didn’t feel like tweaking an existing theme too much.  So I just made a new header, and that was that.

It’s based on my love for LOLcats.   You know you’re hooked on that site when you start actually using LOLspeak in daily life.  Last night, Mike emailed me to say he was going to the store, was there anything we needed?  I responded, “we need cheez.  we had some, but i eated it.”

A few nights ago, I wanted to have dinner at TGI Friday’s and watch the Sox game at their bar.  So I emailed Mike with, “i can has broccoli cheez soop?”  And he knows exactly what I mean, he looks at the LOLcats, too.  He also knows how much I love that soup, I get it almost every time we go there.

The kitty in the new header is my beloved Mitty the Kitty.  I have had him longer than any of the other cats, except for his sister, Dusty, who is elderly but still doing well.  Mitty has seen me through a lot of hell, including a marriage gone bad.  My ex actually accused me of loving Mitty more than him, and you know what?  He was right!  I said, “at least Mitty loves me unconditionally, and doesn’t give me any shit!”  Okay, so he shat in the litter box, but that’s not the kind of shit I’m talking about here, yanno?

Mitty the Kitty passed away almost a year ago.  I miss him so much.  At first, I didn’t want to look at any pictures of him, but now I want to give him a place of honor on this blog.
