Random stuph…
~ What is WITH some of these people on Dr. Phil? Sometimes they have the same people coming back on, over and over again. I happened to see promos for today’s show, and once again, the guests were this couple, and the guy’s mother. The guy’s mother was such a raving bitch, that the couple banned her from their wedding. That was around the first time they were on. They’ve been on several times since. Yeah, these people are all messed up, and honestly, who cares anymore? If Dr. Phil hasn’t been able to help them after all of this time, there’s not much hope he can do anything for them now.
~ And speaking of losers on daytime TV shows…I happened to catch Divorce Court today. It’s “Control Freak Week”, yanno? Lotsa good train-wreckiness there!
This loser guy wanted a divorce because his wife was “not a good wife”. He was one of those guys who believe that women exist only to serve men, and be forever barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen. He did not want her to work outside the home. He did not want her to have ANY contact with her family or friends. He did stuff like wake her up in the middle of the night because he was hungry, and demanded that she cook him a meal. And he wanted TEN kids.
Judge Lynn asked him how much money he earned, and he said $580/month. She asked him how he expected to be able to support ten kids on that, since he didn’t want his wife to get a job. He said, “Social Services”. Loud booing from the audience ensued.
Judge Lynn said, yeah, now I get it. You want ME to support your kids, as well as Joe (indicating the bailiff), and all of the good people in this courtroom to, don’t you?
The wife said she was done having kids…she already had four (three with Loser Boy and one from a previous relationship), and she felt that this was enough. She was done, the baby factory was closed for good.
She’s far better off rid of this loser. Oh, and he was cheating on her, too. Charming.
~ And speaking of judge shows, I’m sure that one of these days, I’ll see a case where someone bought something off the internet, and is suing the seller over not getting the item. Or even worse, identity theft. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together KNOWS never to buy anything from a website with no encryption security in place; it should have something like authorize.net. Anyone who types a credit card number into a web form without such encryption is stupid and deserves what they get.
But still, we’ll be seeing them on Judge Alex soon, anyway. He’s really good at reaming stupid people new ones. He’s not as deliciously evil as Judge Judy, but he is full of common sense.
