Saturday was quite the day…
Nothing like waking up and finding out that your husband went and shaved his head, with no advance warning…

It’s not bad, it just is taking me time to get used to it, yanno? And I did end up helping him with it, as he missed a few spots in the back. This made it look bad, so I went and shaved off those few tufts that were still back there. Only then would I go out anywhere in public with him.
We went out to have lunch at the Border Cafe, and then shopped for food at Shaw’s.
But then, when we got home, I was unable to get my key into the lock. Neither could old Cueball Mike. There was clearly something stuck in the lock, like someone who was trying to use something to pick the lock and break in, but did not succeed.
We did get in via the back door, after panicking because Mike didn’t have the key to the deadbolt back there. But it turned out I had one, and I was able to get in, unlock the back kitchen door, and carefully move the big kitchen cart that is normally in front of that door. No, we don’t use that door very much, only for going down to the basement to do laundry…and it’s much easier to wheel the cart off to the side from the inside, yanno?
So now we need to deal with this lock situation, but we’ll deal with it when it’s daylight. I want to get a deadbolt for this front door, to make it harder for anyone to break in.
No one got in, all of our computers and TVs and other electronics and stuph are still here. It’s just scary to know that someone tried to invade our humble abode while we were out for the day.
But what I really want to do is MOVE. But since we can’t at the moment, if whoever did this comes back, and I catch them, they will regret the moment that their mommy & daddy did the deed and made them. I am DEAD serious.
