The implantable cardioverter-defibrillator will be installed later today, what time, I don’t know. I expect to show up and have Mike NOT be in his room…but that’s okay. The Sox game is on in the afternoon, so I can be entertained by that until they wheel him back into the room!
Mike is going nuts being stuck in the hospital. I am wondering if he should be getting some fat burner pills, maybe they might keep him from being hungry all the time. They do not feed him enough in the hospital, and now he thinks about food all the time! I sneak in healthy snacks, like fresh fruit, but now he can’t even have that. He had to fast last night so they could do a CATscan, and then he has to not eat anything after midnight. But, unlike the Gremlins, NOT feeding Mike after midnight might turn him into one of those bad gremlins…LOL!
It all sucks, but if he wants to be released sooner than later, he has to obey the rules. Then they can do what they need to do, and he gets to come home all the more sooner.
