Can you try calling your local health department? I don’t think it’s considered sanitary to have trash piling up in your house attracting bugs and such.

I would put a bunch of the stinkiest garbage I could find into a box and Fed Ex it to the mayor’s office with a lovely note explaining why this stoooopid law needs to change ASAP. It would be well worth the $20 Fed Ex fee!

Well, for us, outside IS the curb, as we have to put it out on the side street that has no sidewalk or curb. So, yes, the garbage police here would consider anything put out to be *on the curb* and can ticket us.

I hear that yes, they have been spending a lot of time trying to enforce garbage rules to no end. But do the fucking cops come when I call them about the FFA (Future Felons of America) harassing us, trespassing, and all? NO! Does anyone do anything about keeping the FFA in school where they belong? FUCK, NO! They are all about trying to collect the damned money, in any way they can.

I hate this fucking place.

I can understand not being able to put the trash out on the curb, but WHY can’t the trash even be in the cans outside? I don’t get it. Trash belongs outside in cans.

Most cities/subdivisions have rules about how early you can put the cans on the curb the night before trash day (I think our area is like 6:30pm) but how can you be expected to keep stinky trash INSIDE YOUR HOUSE for a week at a time? Does.Not.Compute.

Are the trash police actually walking up to people’s outside trash cans and lifting the lids to see if there are trash bags inside? WTF?
