We have eight very worthy entries for the first One For Me, One For You blog competition! In the order in which they were submitted, here they are:

You may vote once a day, from now until whenever I close the polls one week from today (May 16). I will probably close the polls after 5PM Eastern time on that day, so if you get your last vote in by then, you’re safe.
If you are an entrant, you are encouraged to do another blog post, link it to this one, and encourage your friends to come here and vote for you. You can vote for yourself, of course!
In the event of a tie, I will post a new tie-breaker poll, which I will leave up for 24 hours. Please be sure to check back here regularly for further news on the competition!
