Thmore Thursday Tstuph…
I am SO done with the Evil Post Office. Since the knitting and crocheting DVDs still haven’t been shipped from Amazon, I went and changed the shipping info. They will now be sent to Mike’s work, rather than here at the house. Hey, it’s a street address, and they can get shipments via the USPS, UPS, whoever. I had asked Mike about this and he said it would be okay. I just need to let him know when something has been shipped, and when he should expect to get it.
I feel a LOT better now. But I’m still worried that I might be out $40 for the Proactiv shipment that I haven’t gotten yet, as well as the $13 for the “Christina Cooks” book, both of which have been shipped and will be at the mercy of the Evil Post Office. I changed my mailing address for Proactiv a few days ago, but not in time to catch the last shipment. Hopefully, I’ll get this one before I run out of my current supply, but I’m honestly not counting on it.
I ordered some PawSox tickets this past Sunday, and I had them sent to the P.O. box at The Good Post Office. They were there on Tuesday when Mike went there to collect mail. If I’d had them sent here, I’d still be waiting for them, might be lucky if I get them in time for the April 6 game. When I was getting my PawSox tickets here, it used to take a LOT longer to get them. The Evil Post Office really does suck ass.

I have set up Mike’s birthday present. His birthday is May 8, and I bought tickets for a Sea Dogs game for May 7. I also made reservations for dinner at Fore Street, in Portland, for his birthday, the 8th. He’s always saying that this is his favorite restaurant. And I got a room for the nights of the 7th and the 8th at the Inn at St. John, which is a nice place and about a block away from the Sea Dogs ballpark. All financed with money I made from PayU2Blog, BTW. It’s cool that I can do stuph like this for him, for us.
It would have been nice if I could have managed to keep this trip a surprise, but I honestly couldn’t come up with a good way to do so. The trip is scheduled for the middle of the week, so Mike has to know ahead of time so he can arrange to take time off work. It won’t be a problem, he has tons of PTO on the books now. I just can’t ask him to take three days off from work without telling him WHY.
Anyway, we’re excited abut all of the baseball trips we have planned so far. Sometimes, it’s nicer to take a few smaller trips throughout the summer, as opposed to one ginormous vacation.
