The Hillside Acres folks just called. Lucky and Squeaker are both ready for pickup. I can’t go and pick them up today, because I have no car. I called Mike at work to see if he could swing up there to pick them up, but he’d already gone out to lunch.
I picked out the same urn for Squeaker as I did for Lucky. Wooden ones like this, in which we can insert a favorite picture. This is very similar to what we got for Mister Bill five years ago.
Anyway, this place is not all that far from Mike’s work. So I will ask him to go tomorrow on his lunch break to pick them up. They are only open during the week, regular 8-5 business hours, so going on the weekend or after work is not an option.
I will feel more at peace when they are back home with us, at least in some way.
