Ugh…
I hope I’m not getting sick again. I’m worried. I gacked twice this morning. I tried to go back to sleep, but was awakened by Pumpkin and some other cat fighting.
Went online for a while, after drinking a soda and taking two Advils. Took a shower, and that wore me out enough that I went to lay down again. I think I dozed off a little, but most of the time I was awake and watching Montel and Tyra.
I had been trying to decide whether or not to go out. I probably shouldn’t, but how much rest can I get when the little thugs around here start beating on the door? I WANT to get out of here. Besides, if we stay home tonight, I’ll only worry myself sick about our car getting vandalized. The car will actually be safer at the mall parking lot during the peak Halloween hours.
I hate Halloween, or should I say that I hate what it’s turned into around here.
So I’m taking the bus to the mall, and after I get our World Series shirts, I’ll wait at that bar place for Mike to show up. They are having trick or treating at the mall tonight. It might be fun if the kids are better behaved than the ones around here, and are wearing cool costumes. One of the reasons I stopped giving out candy here is because we mostly get teen thugs, who don’t even bother to wear costumes.
And I don’t want to hear anything about how maybe these kids don’t have much money. We didn’t have much when I was growing up, either, but we always managed to make do and come up with costumes every year. I swear, some of these kids have NO imagination.
It’s almost time for the bus, so I’d best get going!

I hope you don’t get sick now that the trip is coming. You fought so hard to get the trip, it would totally suck if you couldn’t go.

I hope you aren’t sick again and can go on the trip and have FUN!! Gonna be a rough year I think.
We do trick or treating at the mall here too. Its better than roaming around the neighborhood. It just gets so crowded though. I feel sorry for people who are there to shop.
We didn’t get many kids at the house last night. I bought a ton of candy and I’m left with a majority of it. Ugh!

I hope you’re feeling better today! My teen went out trick-or-treating last night with her friends, but I made sure they were all in costumes and that all of the people they were meeting would be, too. What’s the point in going out if they don’t even put any thought into it, you know?
