Wednesday Wstuph…

I’m such an evil person, I kept work away from a hairdresser. But then again, I have my reasons as to why. I have the money to pay, it’s just that I don’t enjoy paying money for some snooty bitch to talk down to me. And they always do.

So yesterday, I did the semi-annual-or-so-hair-loppage. And today was Nice & Easy Day. That’s what was on sale when I was in CVS the other day, so that’s what I bought. I have very little brand loyalty when it comes to hair stuph. I bought shampoo, too…but since the John Frieda stuph wasn’t on sale, I bought Suave instead. I only buy the JF stuph when it’s on sale or I have coupons for it. That’s just the way it goes.

One week from today, we will be up in Manchester, NH, for the Eastern League All-Star Game. I have been looking forward to this since…last year? Whenever it was that they announced that it would be in Manchester, that’s when I said We Are So Going.

It’ll be a mini-vacation for us. Mike is taking off Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. We will be staying over at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manchester on Wednesday night, with a room that faces the ballpark…how cool is THAT?

We come back on Thursday, and then on Friday, we’re off again, this time to Maine to go to a Sea Dogs game, and to stay with Dan in York Beach. We haven’t seen him in ages. I hope the weather will be nice, I’d like to go out on a boat or something on Saturday before we come home again.

I’m just glad that none of this medical crap will ruin this for us! I’m doing fine on the meds…this is the second day in a row with no Ativan, although I did take the Prozac this morning. I think that’s starting to kick in, but I still won’t leave home without the Ativan, just in case an anxiety attack comes on. I feel better knowing that it’s there, even if I never have to use it. Maybe that is WHY I haven’t had to use it? Who knows?
