Officials Take 7-Year-Old After Father Accidentally Buys Him Alcohol Lemonade

Okay…so this guy was stupid. The sign probably didn’t say just “Mike’s Lemonade” on it. I am familiar with this product, and every sign I’ve seen advertising it said, “Mike’s HARD Lemonade”. Even if this guy wasn’t familiar with the product, I’d think that most people, especially a college professor, should know that “HARD” on a beverage label means that it contains alcohol.

Still, CPS went WAY overboard with this one. It was a stupid mistake on the part of the father, and he won’t do it again. There are kids out there who are being beaten, raped, starved, and otherwise abused by their own parents every single day. I see stories on the news all the time about parents who make two year olds smoke pot, and make their kids drink alcohol on purpose. Sometimes they booze ‘em up just to shut ‘em up. These are the true skeeves out there, and the ones that CPS should be going after.
