Really. How dumb can anyone be? As you may know, we had our landline number changed about a month or so ago. We still have the same answering machine message…the “Meow Mix” jingle, followed by me saying, “Hello! you’ve reached Christine, Mike, and the cats…”
So, the phone rang today, and I looked at the Caller ID, to see if it was anyone I felt like talking to. It was someone named Janis something, with a 617 area code…that’s pretty local to here. But I don’t know anyone named Janis, so I let the machine take it
The dumb bint actually left a message, for someone named “Renee” to call her back. I don’t know if this Renee person had our new number before we got it, or if Janis misdialed…but wouldn’t Janis’ first CLUE be the Meow Mix thing that introduces us as Christine & Mike. Where does it say “Renee”?
If this Janis bimbo calls here again, I’m going to pick up and ream her a new one. She deserves my wrath, for annoying me, and being stupid.
