Yawn…

I need to get a good night’s sleep.  I’ve been feeling kind of tired all day.  Note to self:  from now on, take new happy pills before bedtime, not in the AM or middle of the day.  They do work differently for different people the doc said I may need to experiment a bit to find the best time to take them.

I had also slept late, and therefore didn’t take the old happy pill as early as usual.  So I had a bit of an anxiety attack.  It did subside after I took the pill, though.  That’s why I’m using two types right now…the first ones are fast-acting, the second have to be taken for a few weeks to start working.  Then I should be able to quit taking the old ones.  They are sick of seeing my ass in the ER every other day, so they want to keep me as anxiety-free as possible.  That’s what the panic attacks were doing to me, you know…making me feel like I was about to die, and therefore needed an immediate trip to the ER.  Since I started on anti-anxiety meds, things have been MUCH better!
Today I busied myself with some rather challenging computer work, which helped.  Keeping busy always helps.  I really appreciated the work.

It sure feels like Friday today, knowing that Mike doesn’t have to work tomorrow.  Even he thought it was Friday, and got all cranky because he wanted to watch the Friday night news shows on PBS, but they weren’t on.  Then he realized…DUUUUH…it’s THURSDAY!

Tomorrow, we’re going to a Fisher Cats ball game, and I am greatly looking forward to it.  We’re going to make a day of it up in Manchester, hang out at the Rover for a while before the game.  After the game, they will have a big fireworks show, that ought to be cool.

Anything to get away from here, the idiot kids setting off fireworks all over the place, and the neighbors who pollute my nostrils with the stench of lighter fluid when they have their BBQ.

Usually, we stay home and watch the Boston Pops stuph on TV, but then I decided that a ball game would be much more fun.  And since it’s north of Boston, as we are, we don’t have to drive through the mob scenes when the Boston stuph lets out…it’s just like Mike’s “reverse commute” to and from work, if you know what I mean!

Whatever you do this holiday, keep it safe and sane!  :D
